NATIONAL CHILDREN'S ALLIANCE
Empowering local communities to serve child victims of abuse.
We Can Do Better Initiative - Online Resources
Do 10,440 child abuse deaths deserve a Congressional hearing?
We think so. National Children's Alliance and its partners — the Every Child Matters Education Fund, the National Association of Social Workers, and the National District Attorneys Association — are launching a national campaign to end child abuse and neglect deaths. Together, we are running ads in national publications and conducting a national communications campaign that urge Congress to address the fatalities that claim the lives of innocent children every day. Specifically, NCA and its partners are asking Congress to hold hearings and provide emergency funds to stop state cuts in child protective services.
A national strategy for combating maltreatment deaths is imperative. Your assistance and participation in this campaign is critical to its success. For more information on what you can do to get involved, please scroll down.
If you have any questions or need any assistance with this campaign, please contact Cori Plotkin at 303.756.9096 ext. 203 or cori@gallowaygroup.com.
