A Shortlist of Available 2018 NCA Grants

Below is a list of all the different grant categories NCA is offering this year for which CACs can apply. More details and how to apply can be found on our RFP page.

National Subgrants Program

 

Overview

Within the first major funding category, $1,030,000 in funds is available to individual CACs in the following categories:

  • Program Improvement
  • Program Development
  • Program Expansion
  • Tribal Expansion of CAC Services
  • Improving the CAC Response to Children with SBP
  • Improving the CAC Response to Physical Abuse
  • Coordination of CAC Services for Military Installations
  • MDT Response in District of Columbia, U.S. Territories, and States without a Chapter

Details on each award type are available below. Applicants may apply for less than the maximum grant amount.

To improve the quality of the CAC or MDT response; to support provision of services in geographical areas without an Accredited NCA Chapter; and to increase access to the services of an NCA Accredited CAC.

To improve the quality of service provision within CACs national-wide through state-based projects, programs, trainings, and service provision.

CAC Quality Improvement and Accreditation Advancement Grants

These grants are awarded to Chapters to improve the quality of service provision within CACs nationwide, through statewide projects and programs that benefit CACs; fund statewide training for CACs; and/or provide sub-awards for those CACs for whom lack of subaward funding will constitute a substantiated hardship.

[1] Those awardees that received a Program Development grant in a prior year are not eligible to apply for funds for this same grant type.

[2] Current active grantees receiving OJJDP funds through the Youth with Sexual Behavior Program (YSBP) are not eligible to apply for funds under this NCA grant type.
