Forensic Interviewing Services
Children's advocacy centers reflect the needs of their own particular community. As a result, the provision of Forensic Interviewing Services differs from center to center. Some centers have Forensic Interviewers on staff while others draw from their agency communities for interviewers, and assist in training, supporting and maintaining skill-level and expertise. What all centers share, however, is the principle that forensic interviews should be conducted in a manner that is legally sound, of a neutral, fact-finding nature and coordinated to avoid duplicative interviewing.
