Make NCA Your Charity Of Choice
What we do
National Children’s Alliance (NCA) is the national association and accrediting body for Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs). CACs are local centers that provide a coordinated response to:
- Investigate child abuse,
- Help children heal from abuse, and
- Hold offenders accountable.
Services are provided in a safe, child-focused setting, protecting kids from having to relive the trauma of abuse over and over by talking to lots of different professionals, and ensuring that they receive the treatment and care that they need to heal.
Formed in 1988, NCA serves as a voice for abused children by providing support, technical assistance, and quality assurance to CACs for more than 25 years. NCA spearheads the CAC movement nationwide, helping to bring critically needed child advocacy services to those communities in the U.S. still without a CAC.
Who we help
NCA helps children and their families. The scope of the problem of child abuse and neglect in the U.S. is enormous, and can seem overwhelming. But we can, and we will, solve child abuse, one child at a time, by providing high quality, evidence-based intervention services to children and families through Children’s Advocacy Centers. To do so, however, we need your help.

By the numbers
To support America’s communities as they serve child victims of abuse, NCA needs your support. More than 90 cents on every dollar of funding we receive goes directly back to local CACs to help and protect kids, while the rest bolsters the national movement to provide evidence-based support for children and families experiencing abuse.
