Awareness Events and Activities

Raising community awareness about child abuse and the role of children’s advocacy centers in responding to abuse can be a daunting challenge. However, NCA Chapters are uniquely positioned to address these issues, and to assist local centers in doing the same.  Chapters throughout the country are exploring creative ways to get the message out and many of these efforts were developed to be shared with and personalized to local communities.  The campaigns can be used effectively for statewide awareness events and media outreach.
