Executive Director

Kristi House Children’s Advocacy Center is a private, non-profit, 20-year-old organization that provides therapy and related services for child victims of sexual abuse and sex trafficking. The organization also serves as the coordinating body of the Orlowitz-Lee Children’s Advocacy Center, comprised of seven community partner agencies.The Board of Directors of Kristi House is seeking a dynamic visionary and experienced leader for the position of Executive Director. To be considered for this role, the candidate must have a minimum of five years of relevant senior management experience. Additionally, the candidate must have proven experience in: Organizational Management

• Sustaining and enhancing an organization in its core mission areas
• Overseeing the organization’s strategic planning, operational policies, objectives and initiatives
• Evaluating current systems and recommending and/or implementing changes as needed
• Managing Teams. Team builder, motivator with Staff, Board of Directors, agency partners and the public
• Effective in managing the interaction of Staff and Clients

Fundraising and Development

• Developing strong networks within the local community, and nurturing prospects for potential revenue streams, event sponsorships, endowment and volunteer support to increase Kristi House’s financial sustainability
• Manage public relations, evaluate and develop community visibility and brand awareness
• Ability to evaluate fundraising potential

Community Outreach and Partnership

• Effectively communicating with legislators and lobbyists
• Collaborating with local, national and international philanthropic organizations
• Excellent public speaking skills – becoming the face and voice of the organization

Financial Management

• Managing a non-profit cost effectively and maximizing the use of agency resources.
• Candidate must be financially literate in all areas of non-profit financial reporting.
