Why ethics CEs matter for clinicians
August 12, 2025
At Seamless, the premier virtual conference just for clinicians who serve Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) clients, topics like ethics come alive. Every clinician needs a foundation in ethics. And it’s not just because of our professional requirements.
In fact, research shows that we face challenges in evaluating our clinical abilities, competencies, and our clients’ progress. NCA Institute for Better Mental Health Outcomes trainers Ashley Fiore and Geoff Sidoli invite participants to self-reflect on this common dynamic and how it impacts your clinical practice. At the same time, we’ll examine the connection between confidence, competence, and clinician satisfaction. Ultimately, it can lead to our ability to find value and meaning in our work that proactively avoids burnout, rather than having to find your way out of it.
This is just one of the nine great sessions where National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) and National Association of Social Workers (NASW) members can earn 10 CEs in our two-day online course.
Need to meet your state’s annual ethics training requirement? This training provides two Continuing Education (CE) credits toward ethics. But, it’s so much more than just your Ethics hours. Participants will examine how clinical and judgment errors affect the therapeutic relationship, interventions, and our ability to determine treatment effectiveness.
We’ll help you identify science-based plans of engagement, develop collaborative problem solving with clients, and improve clinical efficacy through discussion of ethical dilemmas. The emphasis of this course is on working with children experiencing trauma, working in the CAC setting, and complex situations such as sibling abuse and custodial cases.
