This an exceptional opportunity to lead an organization that plays an active role in ending child abuse in Pike, Floyd, Johnson, Martin, and Magoffin Counties. Judi’s Place for Kids is a non-profit children’s advocacy center and CASA (court appointed special advocate) organization that has been a bright solution to child abuse for more than 20 years.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a deep understanding of the dynamics of child abuse and the ability to work with multi-disciplinary professionals and community members to implement national program standards.
The executive director shall: (a) Be responsible for financial management of the center, including budgets and grant writing; (b) Supervise the duties and activities of center staff and volunteers; (c) Coordinate the design and delivery of services; (d) Fulfill duties as required by the governing board; (e) Report directly to the board on all center activities; (f) Have a master's degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of experience in: 1. Human services; 2. Management; or 3. A criminal justice field; and (g) Affirm a commitment to the welfare and protection of children.

Job Summary: The Executive Director is a professional position charged with the responsibility of implementing the overall mission and policies of Judi’s Place for Kids through financial management, community relations, board relations, and personnel and program management.

Environment: Works in a clean, well-lit, temperature controlled environment.
Tools/Equipment Used: Operate a photocopier, telephone, and fax machine on a routine basis. Operate a security system daily, and electronic recording equipment infrequently. Routine use of computers including email and cloud based applications.
