Executive Director
The executive director’s position is responsible for the efficient operation of the CAC in line with the philosophy of child advocacy centers. This includes a cooperative relationship with the CAC Board of Directors, management of CAC staff, grants, and budgets. Provide oversight of the implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of evidenced-based prevention programs; Nurse-Family Partnership, Parents As Teachers, and Early Head Start. Maintains National Children’s Alliance (NCA) accreditation. Maintains relationships with the Multidisciplinary Team Partner administrators of the 1) District Attorney’s Office, 2) Children &Youth Services, 3) Local Law Enforcement, 4) Crisis Shelter, 5) Human Services, 6) Jameson Hospital, as well as administrators of Juvenile and Adult Probation and the Courts. Provide education and training to local professionals and community members about child abuse and related issues. Represent the CAC at the PA Children’s Advocacy Center and MDITs quarterly meetings and related committee assignments. Facilitate the Child Death Review Team of Lawrence County and the Child Fatality/Near Fatal Review Team and complete necessary paperwork/reports. Should possess the qualifications and skills necessary to carry out all functions of this position including the ability to access and manipulate various software packages and database applications.
