Licensed therapist at The Healing Tree, the mental health component of the Children’s Advocacy Center at The Howard Phillips Center for Children & Families in Orlando, Florida. Bilingual preferred – English/SpanishLMHC/LMFT or LCSW required. Two positions available.  One position works solely in Orange County and one works in Orange and Osceola County.  One position works Monday-Friday and one position works Tuesday-Saturday.  Education/Training – A Masters degree is required. Licensure/Certification – LMHC / LMFT or LCSW Experience – Two (2) years of direct clinical experience preferable in a health or mental health setting with a preference for candidates who have worked with individuals impacted by trauma, particularly childhood physical and sexual abuse. The Healing Tree is seeking a licensed therapist to provide individual, family, and group counseling to families with children who have experienced trauma as a result of sexual and/or physical abuse, as well as their family members. Applicants should rate self as strong in the following:Developing comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and clinical impressions.Differential diagnosis of mental/emotional disorders using the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.Assessing biopsychosocial functioning, disability, and impairment.Using a variety of sources (interview, testing, collateral information, etc.) to assist in developing treatment plans with measureable objectives and interventions related to trauma and a multitude of other issues.Utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach to assist families.Utilizing a structured, evidence-based model of treatment (preferably Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Alternatives for Families Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) while coordinating care with other therapists to address a family’s needs.Self-starting, personal responsibility, time management, and organization.Timeliness, accuracy, and thoroughness of documentation.Willingness to participate in meetings and community events to educate about sexual and/or physical abuse and services provided by The Healing Tree.Visit www.caccentral.com for more information about The Healing Tree and the Children’s Advocacy Center.Please send Resume and Letter of Interest by email to: Michelle Ball, Program Manager, Michelle.Ball@orlandohealth.com.
