Forensic Interviewer Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY
As a key member of our clinical team, our Forensic Interviewer Supervisor ensures child interviews conducted at Children’s Center meet national, state and local standards for excellence. The Forensic Interviewer Supervisor coaches and supervises a small team of Child Interviewers, educates community partners, and also conducts sensitive and thorough interviews of children, adolescents, and young adults suspected to be victims of abuse or neglect. Our Interviewers prepare for and testify in court proceedings as requested.
This is a Salaried/Exempt .8 FTE (32 hours/week) position, exact schedule negotiable. Eligible for full benefits. Reports to Medical Clinic Director.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, or child development.
- Minimum two years’ experience and skill in forensic interviewing of children.
- Knowledge of child sexual abuse dynamics and child development.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
