National Children’s Alliance Launches New Website

New Website to Include Interactive Membership Platform and Resources on Supporting the Children’s Advocacy Center Industry

On June 16, 2014, National Children’s Alliance launched its new website in an effort to better to provide its membership, child advocacy professionals, and the general public with effective resources to support the intervention and prevention of child abuse. The new site is designed to be user-friendly and informative, while sharing valuable resources on child abuse intervention and prevention.

With an easier to navigate system and more detailed information available, users of the new site will be able to better access resources to support the effective and efficient delivery of services when it comes to child abuse intervention tactics. In addition, policymakers and legislators will have readily available educational materials on child abuse related statistics and issues from across the country. The general public will also benefit from easier to access resources when it comes to recognizing the signs of abuse and how to report abuse when suspected – ultimately helping to keep more children safe every day.

As stated by Teresa Huizar, Executive Director of National Children’s Alliance, “We are very excited to launch our new website and provide our members, and the various audiences who utilize our site for information gathering purposes, with a more effective system for locating information about child abuse intervention and prevention. The new site will not only provide valuable tools for professional development and advocacy, but will make it easier for the user to get involved and take action with the click of a button.”
