16BIT
Battle Injustice Together from July 16 to 31
Your childhood games can make a difference
16BIT was inspired by the retro eras of gaming and the story of a brave girl who disclosed abuse after watching a 90s "Sonic Says" cartoon. This event brings together a community of creators who showcase games that were inspirational to our childhoods Whether it's the story, the art, the characters, or the happy memories, your childhood game can make an impact this July!
Be the Inspiration for Kids!
The theme of this year’s 16BIT event is “Inspirational.” We encourage participants to play childhood games that were inspirational to them, whether it was the story, the art, the characters, or even the happy memories associated with the game!
We invite you to make an impact for kids who need and deserve evidence-based mental health care to heal from the trauma of abuse. Your childhood games brought comfort to you, and now you can use those same games to bring comfort to another child.

Can I only play 16BIT games?
While 16BIT was inspired by the 16-bit era of gaming, it's not at all required. You're welcome to showcase any retro games that are nostalgic for you from any retro consoles, including PlayStation and XBOX! At the end of the day, we just want everyone to have fun while raising money for a good cause!
What if my childhood inspirational game isn't 16bit/retro?
"Retro" is such a subjective term with no clear definition. We don't want to gatekeep what is "retro" for this event. Play any game from your childhood, or try out a retro game that you never got to play!
Is it okay that I don't play on the original hardware?
Of course! We know how difficult it can be to obtain that, and gaming should be accessible for everyone.
Can I stream something other than video games?
Absolutely! You can do art, music, irl, cooking, etc.
Does this event focus on first-party titles?
Nope!
Is this a raid train?
No, but we encourage yall to raid into one another!
