Give in a Way That Works for You

Your support helps ensure children impacted by abuse have access to the care, healing and support they need. National Children’s Alliance accepts several types of charitable gifts beyond cash, including donor-advised fund grants, qualified charitable distributions from IRAs, appreciated stock and cryptocurrency. NCA also welcomes legacy gifts and other planned giving arrangements.

Give Through Your Donor-Advised Fund

A donor-advised fund (DAF) allows you to recommend charitable grants from assets you have already set aside for giving.

Make your gift

1. Visit our donation form.
Choose Donate with other methods.

2. Select DAFpay as your giving method.

3. Choose your DAF provider and follow the prompts to recommend your gift to National Children’s Alliance.

If you have questions about making a DAF gift to NCA, please contact our Development team. Please consult your tax advisor about the potential tax implications of making gifts from a donor-advised fund.

Donate Stock

If you own appreciated stocks or mutual funds, donating them may be a tax-efficient way to make a charitable gift.

Through our partner, Every.org, you can donate eligible securities online without needing to transfer shares directly to an NCA brokerage account. Every.org receives and liquidates the securities, then sends the proceeds to National Children’s Alliance as a charitable grant.

How it works

1. Visit our link below to be connected to our Every.org donation platform.
Every.org partners with NCA to facilitate stock and other non-cash gifts.

2. Choose your stock.
Enter the ticker symbol and number of shares you would like to donate.

2. Follow the instructions.
Every.org provides instructions for completing the transfer through your brokerage account.

3. Your gift is converted to impact.
Once received, the stock is liquidated and the proceeds are granted to NCA.

Please consult your tax advisor about the potential tax benefits of donating appreciated securities.

Donate Cryptocurrency

Have cryptocurrency you’d like to put to work for children? You can make a cryptocurrency gift to National Children’s Alliance through our partner, Every.org.

Every.org accepts a wide range of cryptocurrencies, converts eligible gifts to U.S. dollars, and grants the proceeds to NCA.

How it works

1. Choose your cryptocurrency.
Select the cryptocurrency and amount you would like to donate.

2. Connect your wallet.
Follow Every.org’s instructions to complete your gift.

3. Make an impact.
Every.org converts the cryptocurrency and grants the proceeds to NCA.

Please consult your tax advisor regarding the tax treatment of cryptocurrency donations.

Give From Your IRA

If you are age 70½ or older, you may be able to make a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to National Children’s Alliance.

An IRA charitable gift can be a meaningful way to support children impacted by abuse while potentially providing tax benefits. If you are required to take minimum distributions, a QCD may also count toward your required minimum distribution.

How to make an IRA gift

Ask your IRA administrator to make a distribution directly to:

National Children’s Alliance
P. O. Box 5147
Deptford, NJ 08096
Federal Tax ID: 63-1044781

To ensure we can properly acknowledge your gift, ask your IRA administrator to include your name with the distribution and notify us when your gift is on its way. Please consult your tax or financial advisor to determine whether an IRA charitable distribution is appropriate for your circumstances.

Legacy Giving

A legacy gift allows you to support National Children’s Alliance as part of your long-term financial or estate plans. You can make a lasting difference by including NCA in your will or trust, naming NCA as a beneficiary of a retirement account or life insurance policy, or through other planned giving options.

Will I receive a receipt for my gift?

For gifts of stock or cryptocurrency made through Every.org, Every.org will provide a tax receipt. NCA will also send you an acknowledgement of your gift if you provide your contact information when making your gift.

For gifts made through a donor-advised fund (DAF), NCA will acknowledge receipt of your gift if you provide your contact information. Because DAF gifts are made from charitable assets already held in your DAF, NCA does not issue a tax receipt for these gifts. Please contact your DAF administrator or tax advisor for questions about tax documentation.

Can I make a non-cash gift anonymously?

Yes. NCA will honor your request for anonymous giving or any other recognition preference provided with your gift. To ensure we can honor your wishes, we recommend confirming your preference by emailing our Development team when you make your gift. Please contact us with any questions about recognition or anonymity.

How long does a gift take to reach NCA?

Processing times vary depending on the type of gift and financial institution. We recommend initiating gifts as early as possible, particularly near the end of the calendar year.

What information do I need to make a non-cash gift to NCA?

Depending on the type of gift and your financial institution, you may need the following information:

National Children’s Alliance
EIN: 63-1044781
Address: P. O. Box 5147, Deptford, NJ 08096

You may also be asked to provide additional information about NCA or the gift itself. If your financial institution or DAF administrator requires information you don’t see here, please contact our Development team at and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Who should I contact if I need help?

Contact or 202.548.0090 ext 179, and we’ll be happy to help you determine the best way to make your gift.

Ready to put your assets to work?

Cash isn’t the only way to make a meaningful charitable gift. Assets you’ve already accumulated—including funds in a donor-advised fund, retirement assets, appreciated securities or cryptocurrency—can become powerful support for children impacted by abuse.

Your gift helps NCA:

  • Equip professionals with the training they need to help children heal.
  • Expand access to evidence-based mental health services.
  • Strengthen Children’s Advocacy Centers in communities across the country.
  • Advance research, resources and practices that improve outcomes for children.

Please consult your financial advisor, tax professional or attorney for advice specific to your situation if you have questions about making a non-cash charitable gift.
