CAC Children’s Therapist
The Baltimore County CAC, Sexual Abuse Treatment Program (SATP) is looking for a trauma informed children’s therapist to serve a specialized population which will include children, adolescent, and some non-offending caregiver adult clients suffering from mental illness as a result of trauma, primarily from sexual abuse. This 34 hour position provides individual, group, and family therapy within a social service agency, provides psychosocial evaluations for victims and crisis intervention as needed. The therapist develops and implements treatment plans, assesses client progress, provides written documentation, attends treatment team meetings, coordinates with other agencies involved with clients, and provides training to internal and external partners. Additionally, this position attends Baltimore County CAC case review meetings weekly acting as the mental health representative of the CAC multi-disciplinary team. Possession of a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Certified Social Worker, Clinical (LCSW-C), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D), or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D) is required for this position. Training in trauma-informed treatment modalities is required. The hourly rates are from $32.07 through $40.36 per hour and includes benefits.
