Victim Advocacy and Support

Children's advocacy centers provide victim support and advocacy to help reduce trauma for the child and the non-offending family members, and to help improve outcomes.  Coordinated victim advocacy services help children and families with access to and participation in the investigation, prosecution, treatment and long-term follow up care.  The guiding principle in providing victim-centered advocacy is to ensure a consistent and comprehensive network of support to the child and family.
